My Favorite Resources For All Things Sustainable
When you first take the step to making your life more sustainable and eco friendly it's easy to get trapped by companies who "greenwash". I often had to learn the hard way. I have tried so many different products from tooth brushes to hair care finding the best one that worked for me and the environment was difficult. But here are some resources to make your journey to sustainability hopefully a little easier!
https://packagefreeshop.com/ Package Free is an online shop that sells package free and eco friendly sustainable products. Founder and owner Lauren Singer is an advocate for the environment and living a plastic free lifestyle. She has such an interesting and inspiring story that showed me this lifestyle change was possible. Lauren also has a blog called Trash is for Tossers
https://trashisfortossers.com/ This is Laurens blog "Trash is for Tossers' '. Any question you might have about swaps or how to be more eco friendly, you can most likely find on there. This blog is always my go to for finding helpful information that is also trustworthy.
https://zerowastestore.com/?_atid=nHow2yHgkJNw1YjL1MUzPWKRUSgZOi The Zero Wast Store is yet another great online zero waste shop. They have a large variety of products from household products to garden tools, this store has a swap for almost anything you need.
https://buffy.co/mission Looking to upgrade your old bedding well look no further Buffy makes the comfiest bedding I have ever slept on. I can't even begin to describe to you just home soft and cloud like the computer is. I love it. Not only do they make the most comfortable bedding in the world (in my opinion) they are soft and gentle on the environment too. They use recycled plastic to make the fluffy filling for their products but also use eucalyptus for their fabric and soft hemp. I personally love my computer from them and would ever look back on making the switch.

I was skeptical at first but with further research I decided to give them a try, and I loved my silk pillowcase. The do have other home good items like Americans #1 rated organic mattress, bedding, and furniture. I have yet to purchase anything else from them but hope to in the future when I need a new mattress.
https://www.litterless.com Litterless is by far the most helpful site I have found for composting and grocery shopping. They have compiled a list of where you can compost and where you can bulk grocery shop all in one place. It's hard to find places near you for bulk shopping with just a google search (at least it was for me) but this has made it so easy to find out where to go, what they carry, and other helpful tips about each place.
I was not asked to promote these companies or websites at all and just simply put them here for you because I trust them and have found them to be well worth a visit. If you have any websites or companies that I missed let me know!
